Like the Lego Star Wars games before it, this game is extremely fun and funny. Tons of stuff to explore and do, great to play with two people (although I recommend either game pads or 2 keyboards as it is just too cramped to play on just 1). Tons and tons of things to do + bonus levels! Great family game.

For people who enjoyed the Lego Star Wars series, you will enjoy this one.

the gameplay is fine and has that fun funny way lego games are made, exept the display is very poor. Colours are out of line, it gets blurry at some parts and freezes occasionally. I wouldnt recomend this if you are looking for a very complex game but it is fun just to play around.

I find this game very fun and entertaining and is very suitable for kids as well. My only problem is about 50% of the time when I try and start the game my mac crashes. Im not sure if it is my mac, but I hope it isnt because its a brand new macbook pro running lion sooooo

its an amazing game but you have to aim to use any spell the best example of this is the first boss battle when you have to catch the moving blocks and throw them back.

All around a great game to play. I play it on a 2012 Macbook Pro (basic model) and it runs the fan, so I dont play it for too long because my computer still does heat up which is the only problem. But it doesnt lag on me or freeze or quit. The game does have a lot of differences from the books which is annoying if youre a potterhead, but its still a lot of fun to play!

This game is amazing, since Ive been obsessed with Harry Potter for years (you can call me a devoted fan). I got this for my 2013 MacBook Air, and it runs silky smooth! The only problems are that the fan does spin really fast during gameplay, and Id recommend playing while connected to AC power because it drains your battery FAST. Other than that, its one of the best games Ive ever owned!!

People critique this game way to much … If you like harry potter its a must buy for sure. and even if you don’t.. still worth the 20$ they ask for it i guarantee anybody with an open mind coming in will be satisfied coming out

I absolutely LOVE this game! I thought maybe, since it was legos, the graphics wouldnt be pretty, but boy, was I wrong! Theyre stunning! And I dont only love the graphics - this is by far the funnest game I have ever played! So fun I used the word "funnest"! I TOTALLY would recommend this game. A little pricey, but there is no question that this game is worth the thirty dollars. My new favorite game. And it only took me about forty minutes to download, which is a lot quicker than I expected.

I just bought the game and im the second lvl on the start video and everytime it gets to the people entering the mess hall on hogwarts the game freezes everytime sooo annoying I cant play the game waist of money if it wont work and im using a brand new macbook LAME.

Do NOT quit during story mode in Tom Riddles Diary, the fourth level in year 2. If you do the level will disappear forever. This glitch is on every system. There needs to be an update. This game freezes a ton, especially in the Hogwarts courtyards. I have had to turn the game on and off 15 times at least. It goes slow sometimes as well. Having said that, the gameplay is phenomenal. Multiple spells with different effects, almost 200 characters, different abilities to be learned, humorous gameplay, and splendid 2-player interaction. This game is by FAR the best Lego game available. Even with its setbacks, this game is 4 stars of fun, exciting, gameplay. I had to restart after the Tom Riddle level, and even after playing this game twice, it still maintains its rapture. A must have for any harry potter, lego, or action game lover!

I have had many Lego Series and this is my first on the Mac and it is very entertaining but I have a glitch towards where objects that the characters interact with a pure black.No detail what so ever.IT it is very annoying that I cant see any objects that Im suposed to interact with.But other than that it runs smoothly.If this is fixed soon I will buy the other Lego games for mac and also give a 5 star rating

I press play on the Dialog when it opens, And it dosent load. The VHD dissapeers when I press "Play" after changing some settings on the dialog. Help?

I first preordered this game for PS3 and got it on the first day. I loved it so much when I got my Mac and found out there was an app i knew I had to get it. It was a little pricy and it took forever to load (I had to do it twice because the first time my internet connection had a timeout)but it was worth the wait. I. Love. This. Game.

I have previously bought Lego Star Wars for Wii so I thought that since I just purchased a new MacBook Id have a game or two on here. Lego Harry Potter is visually stimulating, fun to play and seriously addicting. Having said that with the update of Lion OS X everything has changed. The color scheme of the levels have half the colors that are meant to be there, and the other half are completely black. Leaving you guessing as to how to proceed! Some colors dont even show up and things are invisible, it makes for a very difficult experience tying to guess how to proceed. Another glitch that occurs is the previous game screen freezes while the story line continues. For example year one attempting to defeat Voldemort/Quirell took me at least ten times to actually be able to see the correct gaming screen. Same as the previous comments have said dont you dare exit out of Tom Riddles Diary, itll be the last time you see it. The game in general is fun and good humored, but all these glitches need some serious improvement. Without the glitches this game would be a hands down 5, but for some reason on a perfectly new good computer with updated software the game doesnt hold up.

i dont kow why, but i just bought this last night and it just finished downloading, but when i open it, it is all blurry, and reallly really really slow, i have a core 2 duo processor, and 1.5 GB of ram, PLEASE HELP!
